Being transparent as I review the Your Personality and You Workbook, I am a research and applied psychologist, so these kinds of books interest me...this journey though the Your Personality and You Workbook is so far very enjoyable.

Strangely Enough, A REALLY Great Book And Resource. Seriously, READ THIS

– Tank Girl

This book is a very thorough collection of all the best self-help and self awareness out there. It is part book and instruction, part psychology, and part workbook. I love how it is laid out so that it doesn’t feel overwhelming, but gives lots of research and opportunity for self reflection. It’s laid out nicely to allow for you to take it on at whatever pace you feel comfortable.

Edible Entanglements is a brilliant look at the background and meaning of sovereignty in food politics and politics of climate change. Dennis skillfully walks her reader through Carl Schmitt's political theology, Walter Benjamin's response, and the impact of this exchange on our current political climate and use of the term sovereignty. The history of the global food justice / food sovereignty movement is well done and leads nicely into her employment of new materialism and agential realism. Dennis ends with a metaphysical shift that reconfigures the way we understand the situation of food sovereignty through a theological lens. The book is insightful, accessible, and well written!

Absolutely Brilliant! Edible Entanglements is a fascinating book that explores food sovereignty and food insecurity by examining power structures, global politics, science, and religion. Dr. Dennis draws on multiple theoretical perspectives to develop a stunning narrative on the need for unified action to ensure sustainability and save our planet. This book analyzes the very foundation of the global food epidemic, and constructs meaningful and actionable alternatives to the path that we are currently on. A must-read!
